How to crop a PFP

  1. Choose a picture from your device, or drop it on the crop area. Any PFP from this site works too: open it and tap "Crop or resize this PFP".
  2. Drag the picture to frame it, and use the Zoom slider (or pinch, or the mouse wheel) to get closer.
  3. Pick Circle or Square, then the size for the app you want it on.
  4. Tap Download PNG and upload it as your profile picture.

Questions

Is my picture uploaded anywhere?

No. The cropping happens in your browser on your own device. Your picture is never sent to PFPGeeks or stored anywhere.

What size should a profile picture be?

Commonly recommended sizes are at least 128×128 px for Discord (512×512 keeps it sharp everywhere), 320×320 px for Instagram, at least 200×200 px for TikTok, 400×400 px for X and 800×800 px for YouTube. Most apps show avatars in a circle, so keep faces and logos in the middle.

Why a PNG?

A circle crop needs see-through corners, and PNG keeps them. Most apps crop to a circle themselves, so the Square option works just as well if you'd rather keep the corners.
